Here is our little girl wearing a traditional Asian baby outfit! Can you tell why we took the picture outside? Um, yeah at some point she did pee and yes, the neighbor guy walking by witnessed it-I am sure he had stories to tell when he got home!

Splitty Pants

This outfit was a gift from our special friend Courtney from China. If you were able to see the back of Juleah-all you would see is skin! They are called splitty pants, because there is a split in their pants instead of using diapers.

Juleah loves to play with her toys and could entertain herself for hours at a time. Recently, I left the room and she was sitting up and playing away with her steering wheel (Ryan is training her already) and when I returned moments later I found that she apparently got a little hungry and decided the toy looked more tasty then fun! Can you tell she is almost 6 months with two teeth!

Ryan went with his buddiesand his brother for Father's Day weekend to celebrate their manliness on the river and with paintball guns. It sounded like a good time was had by all. We topped it off with a picinic dinner with my dad and brother as well as a little family kick ball.

Juleah Embracing Culture

Juleah has officially transitioned into a bath chair and is loving it! She likes to watch the toys and splash a little and to put it politly. I think she would have really liked it in China-we ate ducks there too!

This picture shows four generations from Gr. Grandma-Lola to Grandma-Leah to Father-Ryan to Juleah. Lola's grandmother was also named Julia-that means she is Juleah's Great-Great-Great-Grandma (same as 6 generations).

First Time Swimming

During our family trip to Kansas City during Memorial Day weekend Juleah got to try out her new turtle bathing suit and make some splashes with dad! We also discovered she had two bottom teeth! No complaints! Way to go girl!
