My big helper girl!
Our art project of the day and it is only 8am-going to be a long one!
Juleah looked at the pumpkins and said "Happy" and then decided to show us what happy looks like on daddy's face "see" as she pokes him on both checks.

Our fun filled small town life

Juleah helping mom make daddy apple pieHere I am with 5 weeks to go!
Just recently Juleah has taken an interest in fish. She does the motions, points them out when she sees them, and it is in her vocab list of 20 words. She just enjoys fish. However, Ryan and I simply have no interst in pets, and have just never had a huge desire to have any pets. Until now. Suddenly our hearts giggled with glee at the thought of giving Juleah something she has never dreamed she could have. Truthfully our daughter didn't ask us to buy them, she certainly doesn't deserve them, and she did nothing to earn them. So why did Ryan and I feel compelled to buy them for her. I believe it is because we just simply delight in seeing our daughter enjoy something that was a gift to her, from us. I believe that the Lord also delights in seeing his children enjoy the gifts that He has given to us.
At the Marshalltown parade in addition to enjoying the two hour show of great floats, Juleah was busy collecting and re-distributing candy. As well as finding people to open wrappers for her. Her nieve mom didn't realize that for a while-sneaky little girl-just like her mom-likes that candy!
Tow Mator is in town!!!
